There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the best therapy experiences arise when you feel in touch with your therapist, have complete confidence in them and feel safe and understood. So I’d like to let you know a little about me.

WHAT I DO

It was at the age of seven that I had decided I would dedicate my life to helping others to feel happy, having already developed an interest in hands-on-healing and direct experience of spontaneous higher-meditative states. By the age of fifteen I was reading books on self-hypnosis, meditation and yoga, knowing without a doubt that these practices provided a direct path to human happiness.

UNIVERSITY

I had also developed a strong interest in life itself, which led me to pursuing study in Biology, a PhD in Immunology and a career in Public Health.

Although this work is very fulfilling, my deeper interest in healing modalities drew me into embarking on an in-depth Buddhist meditation programme, and a natural interest in Reiki developed from here, from which I attained Usui Reiki Mastery.
I practice Reiki healing from my base in Didsbury, Manchester.

HYPNOTHERAPY

My interest in hypnotherapy strengthened from an even more personal event, in which I used this incredible practice during the birth of my second baby. It’s difficult to find the words to describe the feelings that arose during this precious time, as a result of hypnotherapy eliminating my fears and allowing me the space to enjoy this time.

HYPNOBIRTHING

From here I was excited to qualify in Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis for Birth (Hypnobirthing). I love receiving all the birth stories from my clients about how the Hypnobirthing not only “really worked!” but also increased their ability to flow though daily life with ease.

HOLISTIC

It is my wish that my clients can benefit in the same way I continue to benefit, from the powerful therapies of Reiki, hypnotherapy, meditation and Access Bars. It is for that reason I strive to understand your particular difficulties as well as your personality, hopes and dreams, in order to create a space of healing that feels like it’s made just for you.
