I strive to work together with you to unravel, hold, navigate and ultimately transform your trauma, in a safe, gentle and empowering way.
Trauma can include anything from your past (or ongoing present) that significantly negatively impacts the way you feel and behave. Some examples include: Childhood Adverse Events, abuse, birth trauma, miscarriage, prolonged loneliness, racism, inequality and marginalisation, emotional or physical neglect and traumas that arise from illness, disability or neurodiversity.
Trauma methods
Holistic, embodied, nervous-system informed and compassion-based practices are crucial for trauma healing to be gentle, thorough and long-lasting. Some of the methods we may use include:
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Somatic Movement Education
- Hypnotherapy with Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)
- Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or ‘tapping’)
- Self-Care and mindfulness
- Energy work (Reiki and Access Bars)

There is no single way to take care of trauma that works for everyone and it’s crucial for me to take the time to understand your background, your personality, your needs and for us to work together to create a space that feels safe enough for you to find the stability to face your biggest challenges.
